Our process/warranty information

Our Paver Sealing Process

Our paver sealing process is built around proper preparation, precise sanding, and professional sealing so the finished surface looks great and stays protected.

1. Deep Cleaning & Surface Preparation

We thoroughly clean the pavers using professional pressure washing equipment to remove dirt, algae, mildew, grime, stains, and buildup. We also clean out the joints between the pavers so old, loose, or contaminated sand is removed. Any areas requiring additional treatment, such as rust or organic staining, are addressed before moving forward. Proper preparation is critical because sealer should never be applied over a dirty or improperly prepared surface.

2. Precision Joint Sanding

Once the pavers are properly cleaned and dry, we install fresh, color matched joint sand. The sand is carefully swept across the entire surface and worked deep into the joints between each paver. We pay close attention to proper sand depth and coverage, filling low or washed out joints as needed. Excess sand is removed from the surface before sealing. This step helps stabilize the pavers, improve the appearance of the joints, and reduce movement and erosion.

3. Professional Sealer Application

After the surface has been properly prepared, we apply a high quality professional paver sealer (2-3 coats). The sealer penetrates and protects the pavers while helping lock the joint sand into place. Depending on the selected finish, sealing can also enhance the natural color of the pavers while providing protection against water intrusion, UV exposure, staining, fading, algae growth, and everyday wear.

We don’t believe in rushing the process. Cleaning, sanding, preparation, and sealing all have to be done correctly for the finished product to perform the way it should.
